    It's really interesting to see how much he changed in such a short span of time. According to Ray Manzarek, Jim always did like alcohol a little too much and it tended to turn him into a different and less likable person when he was boozing.

    My first (and only) Door's album was Morrison Hotel. Almost everything I know about him I learned after he died. I read in an FSU related newsletter (photo credit for above) that he met Manzarek at UCLA film school.

    I just reread my reply. It's not that I didn't find Morrison likable, I just liked other people better.
